Legendary comedy writer and producer Norman Lear died yesterday at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 101. The Emmy-award-winning writer of CBS' 1970s sitcom "All in the Family" is credited with pioneering socially aware, topical hit TV shows. ___________________________________________________________________

There's a cable network that runs "classic" T.V. shows and they play episodes of 'All In The Family' on weekends. Game changing TV that pushed boundaries. I wasn't aware, though, that he also created Good Times and Sanford and Son. A great talent
