What religious art do you have in your home?

Where is it placed? How did you acquire it?

Believe it or not:

The only religious art we have in the main area of the house is a lithograph of the "life of Jesus" that is signed by the original artist.

That, and we have a litho that claims to be "the boy Jesus in a straw hat" that, instead, I call "a young Elisabeth Taylor in a straw hat" that is hanging on the wall in the sewing room.

In my 'library area" I have a brass Buddha, a glass "cat's eye" given to me by a witch friend, a rosary that was blessed by somebody, a couple of medallions, and a few other odds and ends that way.

I have some hand painted wooden calveras hanging in my office.

As complex as the culture of Mexico itself, Dia de los Muertos is a fusion of pre-Columbian religious tradition (Olmec, Mayan, Aztec, etc.) and Iberian observance of the feast days, itself a complex blend of Christian and "pagan" traditions.

I also have a couple of hand-made and painted clay calaveras which are part of Dia de los Muertos.

Other than that, I did a quick tour of my house and I have nothing else that would be religious.

I got them from street vendors in Mexico on several of my trips. I just like the artwork.
