What are some popular drinks for New Year's Eve?

For me, the same as every other day of the year.

Green tea and / or coffee early.

Then later, and just how much 'later' depends on what's going on: Bourbon.... which has been known to be straight and / or mixed in with the coffee before 9 AM.

And water throughout the day.

Alcohol-free sparkling juice, cranberry ginger-ale (mmmmm....), idk - is champagne still a thing on New Year's? Maybe a 'rum and coke'

A fake sparkle wine, brut, cause I don't taste the difference with champagne anyway.
