I don't think so. Once something is "disease" it goes into the hands of those who search for a "medical" cure. I'm NOT suggesting there isn't a bio-medical basis for some cases of obesity (please read that again if I'm not making that very clear already), but what I am suggesting is there may be factors besides bio-medical. Social determinants of health play a significant factor in overall health and weight/obesity can be impacted by socio-economic status, housing and financial security, food security, any manner of things. And, yes, medical issues as well
