An event with no oven and only 1 fridge... food?

I'm hosting an event at my church in April, and we don't have an oven and only have 1 refrigerator that's standard size.

What foods are recommended that could be quick and could be stored in the fridge while we wait for the lunch meal at 11 AM and arrival is at 9AM?

Bread with salads. Maybe bring a gas heater for soup that you normally use at the camping. We did that once in church. Bring a microwave. Or rice. We often had some pot luck and people brought whatever. Indonesian stuff, rice, pastries. We didn't even have a fridge there. It was a cold church though.
