Scientifically of course, but this is more of philosophical question.
To say there is no sound means "sound" is the experience of hearing, rather than an objective phenomenon.
But then, if I talk to a deaf person (who can't see me), am I not talking?
However, that's not a valid comparison because there's still a sentient actor (me) involved, who besides doing the talking also hears the sound.
It all comes down to semantics, what is your definition of "sound".
