Never go to bed angry. Stupidest thing one can do. DO go to bed angry. Give yourself time to process those raw emotions and think rationally before it is discussed more. Avoid pointless fights. Imo, it would behoove anyone (and everyone) to learn some calming techniques that work for them, so that they never feel like they can't wait to discuss, but be able to calm themselves down and process those feelings quickly, with the understanding that more will be clarified and sorted out in the morning.
