I think they all look like Remi who was my favorite, but that wasn't anime.

I'm pretty sure that very much is an anime
I don't have particular big favorite. Some top ones are Ninja Scroll (the series), Berserk, original Digimon series, Devilman OVA and a guilty pleasure To Heart.
Then there's the Ghibli films, but that's a whole nother lecture.
