People are still testing for covid? I've heard from so many people that the tests aren't accurate anyway, so what's the point? Plus, right now covid is more like a cold or light flu for the majority of the people.

From an employee email notice:

The University of Vermont Health Network – is requiring patients and visitors to resume masking as COVID infection rates rise in the region and the hospital manages an outbreak of the virus within its facility. Employees have returned to masking and when appropriate, the use of protective eyewear.

In the past 10 days, VHN has experienced an increased number of COVID positive admissions, emergency visits and employees out of work after testing positive for the virus. “We have a number of patients who were diagnosed with COVID here. Because it’s unclear how they came in contact with the virus, universal masking is the best way to combat its spread,” explained Lisa Mark, MD, VHN vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer.

They're still getting it even with masks, so masks don't work. They're still getting it after getting the covid vaccine, so the vaccine doesn't stop it...and does it help with not making it worse? We really can't know.
