Lab leak ‘most likely’ cause of Covid-19 global pandemic, new study shows

Since the beginning of the pandemic I've assumed that the most likely thing that happened was that the virus was natural in origin (e.g. came from bats), samples were sent to a nearby lab that specialises in these things, and somehow escaped/multiplied from there - possibly due to negligent handling (although that last part is pure speculation on my part).

I'm seeing a lot of news lately like this but find the wording is always along the lines of 'the pandemic came from a lab', rather than 'the virus came from a lab' - which, if my understanding of English is accurate, means my original theory is still accurate.

So my question is - is all the kerfuffle in the news saying that the virus was man made in a lab, or that the source of the outbreak was a lab leak? Because they aren't the same thing as far as I know.

This is one study out of who knows how many, based on a mathematical model which are as accurate as data put in.
I don't this particular comment brings any meaningful clarity to the issue.

And infections first being near the laboratories is a chicken and egg matter. It could mean virus spread from laboratories, but it also makes sense that experts specialized on such and nearby hospitals undoubtedly connected to them are the first to recognize an epidemic.

In 2005 a guy was in a meeting in London with kings and such. Another guy says this in a video from 2010. I only listened to the first 15 mins or so cause then he goes on about alien nonsense, but this video is from 2010.
