The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, has collapsed after reportedly being hit by a container ship.
Why did it veer off course and hit the bridge supports? Watching the cars and trucks go by, knowing that any moment it's going to collapse, is frightening. My heart goes out to everyone who is involved in this massive catastrophe.

One of the updates was that they lost power on the ship and called a Mayday so that people could stop the traffic from going onto the bridge.
