The Florida Senate this week passed a bill banning the homeless from sleeping or setting up camp in public spaces.

IMO: The problem is that they just move someplace else. Just making it illegal just fixes your neighborhood, well, maybe.  I have no problem giving aide to displaced people, but we need to stop acting like they're all victims and call this what it is,  a drug problem. These people need to be forced to go to rehab, stay off drugs or go to jail. From what I've seen they'd prefer jail over rehab.

What's your opinion?

Besides the drug users, there are also the mentally ill who refuse aid, don't want to work and want to be away from people. They don't like going to shelters an refuse offers from the locals who want to help a lot of times...this happened back where I used to live as well as where I currently live. No one knows what to do with them.

They should let these rich house owners who own more than one house and rent them out for insane prices pay loads of taxes and let the rent go down. Tax Musk too and those money preachers. Then buy em a load of flats and give em all a room and govt money.
