Do you think baked potatoes are a better side dish to go along with steak, meatloaf, etc. than mashed potatoes?

It all depends on the main. Steak with a baked potato, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and fish with fries. Like I said, it all depends.

I don't really like mashed potatoes. Only if you mix it with raw endive and add cheese.
