I try to force myself back into some good dreams and re-dream them. If one doesn't work, I move onto the next one and then the next until I finally am back asleep.

I don't normally have that problem of not falling asleep. However, when I am sick, I may not fall asleep and if that happens, I just take a little bit of meds, and I'm out for the night.
