Watch researchers in New Zealand release 200 gallons of synthetic blood into ocean to lure a 14-foot female shark. The experiment helps scientists test the so-called “Queen Boss Theory.”

Why do they have to pollute the ocean with synthetic stuff when they can easily get tons of the real thing in any slaughter house?

Maybe it's a better lure, "smells" more than real?

And real blood might have... OK, I don't know. Antibiotics, hormones, what do they put in animals?

Anyway, I'm sure synthetic could even be less harmful than real.
