People normalize them

What are some things that are weird but people normalize them?

Not weird. More shocking. Racism. 10, 20 years ago we had a politician who wanted to kick people out of the country and everyone was like: what a monster and would stand up for them and they could stay. Now.. a woman from Armenia and her 11 y o kid, judge said they had to leave. Kid was born here, goes to school. The comments on Facebook when you read that News article: Move it, good, kick them all out. Only one or two say wow that's evil or what happened to Holland.
