Do you or someone you know suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder?
If Yes: What's it like to have social anxiety disorder?

Imagine going to store. Imagine everyone there, customers and staff, were in a party last night. A party where you got terribly drunk, danced naked on table and threw up on someone, can't remember who.
Now imagine feeling like that every time you go to a store, for no particular reason.

Are you christian? What helped me was that God loves me, I am a new creation in Him, Jesus carried my shame and if anyone else thinks I'm crazy that's their problem. I'm not crazy. My mother got me tested.

I consider myself agnostic and if I ever try to find any help - which is unlikely as that's among the most anxiety inducing things there is - I think I'll start with beta blockers sooner than faith.
Seriously, an optician once asked out of nowhere if I'd ever considered beta blockers.
