Female character

Who's your favorite female video game character?

I'm not a gamer and I don't think I have ever played a game with a female character. Having said that, Jordan Mcewen known as Claire Redfield from Resident Evil would be my favorite. Jordan and I follow each other on social media, and we communicate often. She models for the character, Claire Redfield.

A classic favorite is governor Elaine Marley from Monkey Island series.

Out of main characters I'd say Jade from Beyond Good & Evil.

I'm afraid gaming history - especially my gaming history that ends about a decade ago - doesn't have many great females.

I loved the 1st game. I didn't know it was a series and I didn't know if has a female character. But I got the CD for free, I don't remember what I bought, I think it was a video card and that was included with the purchase along with Wing Commander. The Monkey Island CD must have been damaged, it would hang when I would reach the hounds on some island. So, I gave up playing it. Wing Commander was the same, it would never go past a certain point.

I think the first scene we meet Elaine is just after passing the deadly piranha poodles. She's the love interest in 1-3 and, I'm not sure not having played that, but she may be second playable character in 4?
There was also another episodic game over decade ago and last year came a new MI game with several of the original creators onboard.

Have to say Wing Commander series was never good at writing women. Spinoff Wing Commander: Privateer had couple cool women, but the main series is bad, especially the forced romances in 2&3.
