Panera Bread reportedly preparing to go public in 2024.
The restaurant chain, known for its sandwiches, salads, and soups, confidentially filed paperwork for an initial public offering for next year. Panera, founded in St. Louis in 1987, last publicly traded in 2017 when German conglomerate JAB Holding bought it for $7.5B. _________________________________________________________________

The nearest Panera I think is 35 minutes away? You have to pay for parking and the lots are small, so it's not very convenient. It's very expensive for the things they sell and we only went there when we had gift cards to use.

I've driven past a couple of them, but that's as close as I'll ever get.
The word "bread" is half their name, that probably means there's little on their menu for me to eat.

I like Panera, but I forget about them when I'm out and about and need some quick grub. There was one near to my office that I frequented for breakfast and lunch. Their reward system made it cheaper to eat there. Along with a full lunch menu and breakfast, they have a pretty good bakery with bagels, loaves of different breads and some delicious pastries. I never think about them when I need a loaf of bread. I should start looking into it.
