Russia has lost 87% of troops it had prior to start of Ukraine war, according to US intelligence assessment

Those manpower losses are on par with US losses for the entirety of WW2.

Activists are saying Putin is using this for "ethnic cleansing" by concentrating recruiting to areas of minority peoples where people are poor and desperate enough to want a soldier's pay.

i heard about this too on twitter apparently hes not recruiting from moscow

Wow that's horrific. Those poor guys. There were also those evil monster women who just stole the kids and wanted money from their ex, so they gave their info or something, so they were forced to go fight and pay them. How evil can you be. I also don't like that Ukrain guy because he forced the men to stay. Saw one who could flee just in time. And the women can live cosy in Holland. They live in the building where I work. Discrimination.

Also illegal immigrants are recruited, some not Russian speaking rumored to not know what they're signing, with contracts talking about "work at the special operation zone" in exchange for permit to remain in country.

And he will retain power in the upcoming ("'-election-'") and continue his program, and pogrom.
