Blood Loss

Have you ever lost a lot of blood from an injury or surgery?

I lost a lot of blood after my last surgery but did okay within 12 hours. I guess my body is good like that to just bounce back.

Today, I was trimming my hair and the scissors dropped on one of my toes. Ouch. I didn't think it was bad until I went to put the scissors away and saw blood all over the bathroom floor and the mat. oh no. I took my sock off wondering if I needed stitches because the blood was so bad, but what saw was a very tiny cut! That was funny. So much blood from such a little cut. I put pressure on it and then a band-aid.

I needed to get blood once. My son once ran into the heater with his head. Blood all over the place. I got hysteric, called my ex, who drove him to the hospital. I had nothing normal to bind it up, so he looked like an Easter egg. It was 2 mm or so. They fixed it with glue. My mother said I had that once too as a kid.
