I've had vehicles that were held together with coathangers, plumber's strapping, and bungee cords.

When my daughter's muffler fell off, I took a coat hanger and went out to meet her where she was stranded and hooked it back up LOL Then she sold the car to CarMax for $500 and no one bothered to look underneath I guess.
