Cash, more practical, although I do like that we get a 30 euro gift card from work every year with Christmas and you can use it almost everywhere.

Whether a gift comes from a company and is in the form of cash or a gift card is of little consequence to me. However, if it's from an individual, I'd prefer neither. They can keep the money or gift card. What I would appreciate more is a modest gift selected, crafted, or chosen with me in mind.

Cash is great…especially if given in a creative way…not just stuffed in a card.
