There are really no rules for short term guests. Maybe no diving headfirst into the pool.
For longer term guests, serve yourself, no glass by the pool, and return things from where they were found.

No shoes inside No smoking/vaping Do not stick your finger in Kooka's cage (my blue fronted Amazon parrot). She will bite if you do so.

@Jazzy Oh yes, I forgot. the big one. Like you, the NO smoking one. I'm sort of kind but I don't like it that in the middle of winter if my guests need to smoke, I will offer the garage, but there has to be a blizzard happening. I'll turn up the heat and they can blow the smoke out the door.
