IMO: It's sad that a legal case can override what is obvious to most of us - that a man or woman is born that way. Still, we are supposed to violate common sense and the facts in the face of opinions that we are told matter more than biology.

And it makes natural born women second class citizens because, essentially, any man that sings the Shania Twain song can claim to "identify as a woman" and 'be a woman', regardless of plumbing.

We need to start treating sex and gender as two separate things. And then, you are allowed to segregate people by sex but not by gender. Though that still leaves plenty of questions about where you draw the lines and how many genders are there.
